Sand Hills Community League is excited to share with you our plans for the development of a 27 Court Pickleball Facility in partnership with the Parkland Pickleheads Pickleball Club.
Parkland County and the City of Spruce Grove Councils have Committed financial support towards this project.
Sand Hills (Hall) was originally built as a recreation facility in the late 1970's. The development of the proposed pickleball courts will create an environment allowing for more community usage of this community facility. Our plan is to promote community recreation increasing individual physical and emotional wellbeing.
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America and we are excited to be part of that growth. The development of the pickleball courts will be an asset for Sand Hills Community League and the community as a whole, it will allow us to offer more programs and further enhance our recreation facility.
This project is scheduled to commence in April of 2024 and be completed by September of 2024.
