Our Mission
The mission of the Parkland Pickleheads Pickleball Club is to facilitate the growth of pickleball in North Central Alberta for the enjoyment, health, and social engagement of all players. We offer organized recreational and competitive play, by ensuring opportunities for the continued development of all players in an inclusive and sportsmanlike environment, and by working to expand club activities and facilities.
Our Club
The Parkland Pickleheads Pickleball Club was established in the summer of 2012 in the City of Spruce Grove by local residents who learned the sport while they were wintering in the southern United States. It didn't take long for the the love of the sport to quickly spread through the tri-municipal area (including Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County) and even to Edmonton as well as other areas of Alberta. The club continues to grow as more and more people discover the sport of pickleball! The Club now has 12 courts at the Henry Singer Park, thanks to the support of the City of Spruce Grove.
